Especially as on closer inspection I see a Marriage Witness of "John Ruck [?]" !

I have James Rook who married Maria Jennings in 1819 as possibly (highly likely but not yet proved) to be on my family tree. I have his father as Henry Rooke born 1720 died 1801. He married Alice Evans on 17/11/1755 and may have been married twice, the other person may have been Ann but I'm not sure. They are likely to be related to my Rook family because they too were blacksmiths and lived in the same places. If I descend from Henry Rooke he was my great, great, great, great, great grandfather however it's the next generation and beyond I know for definite are my relatives.
If you know anything further back I would be very interested. Have a look at the photographs of my Rook/Rooke/Ruck (also mistranscribed in some records as Rock) family on this website, particularly that of Thomas Rook the blacksmith. My mother said that relatives lived in Ross on Wye but I've found few, perhaps this is the family link?

I have James rook/ruck who married maria jennings born 1n 1794 in dymock, parents john and ann not henry and alice?
That would make John/henry ruck my great great great great great grandfather so that would make us 6th cousins?
James's had a son also called James, who then had a son Arthur. All where blacksmiths. James moved to ireland and worked on lord bessboroughs estate in piltown kilkenny. Athur sowed his wild oats with my great great gran, Ellen Luby around 1885. They didn't marry.
