TINGLE/HATTON in Swansea circa 1800 - family origins FoD? (General)
I have an itch I can't scratch.
Jane TINGLE married into my HATTON family (HATTON is my family research - direct descendant of Robert Bart HATTON - my 5th Great grandfather)
She is listed on every census as being born Llangyfelach. I've traced her in Swansea although there are some conflicting dates in LDS and the FreeReg. data. She is said to have been baptised at Pentre Estyll, Swansea in 1805 and her father's name was John TINGLE.
As the family travelled back to Monmouthshire (1841 census etc.) I'm wondering if she is connected to TINGLEs in the Forest of Dean as her husband, John HATTON's were.
Has anyone researching the TINGLE family got anyone migrating to Swansea?
Many thanks, in advance.
Jane Hope
