Hi Jim,
first, I'm neither a Morse or Morgan nor am I from Bream, but no doubt there are such on the forum. Are you in the Forest or further afield ?
Anyhow, did you realise you can freely and failry easily search this site's huge Parish Records database ?.

Doiing so for Edward MORSE gives the following Marriage Record:

Thankfully in this instance there's lots of detail;
As you can see this gives Edward's father as Thomas Morse, retired collier.
Kathleen's father is Joseph Morgan, also collier. There are 162 Joseph Morgan PRs on the database although no obvious (eg Bream late C19) linked to ours. Also note one of the witnesses is Annis Morgan who is most probably another close family member.

Sadly searching the PRs looking for Baptisms of Edward & Kathleen, about 1903 & 1900 respectively, gives no likely Records at all, even using the Soundex.

Ideally could someone please lookup the 1901/1911 Census's ?.

It's a shame the Records are missing or maybe just hiding as the database does include a great MANY Morgans/Morses in Bream area in the preceding years. These include several children fathered around 1900 by a Thomas Morse & Elizabeth Kear, as follows, who I suspect are at least relations to Edward Morse if not his parents:

1894 MORSE Thomas William, Thomas & Elizabeth Kear, Breams Woodside, Engine Driver, Bream
1896 MORSE Hilda Ivy, Thomas & Elizabeth Kear, Bream, Clerk, Parkend
1899 MORSE William Kear, Thomas & Elizabeth Kear Bream, Miner, Bream
1900 MORSE Jack, Thomas & Elizabeth Kear, Bream, Coal Proprietor, Bream
1902 MORSE Cora, Thomas & Elizabeth Kear, Sun Tump Bream, Colliery Owner, Bream
1904 MORSE Harry, Thomas & Elizabeth KEAR, Bream, Licenced Victualler, Bream
1905 MORSE George Camm, Thomas & Elizabeth KEAR, Bream, Collier, Bream
1906 MORSE Raymond, Thomas & Elizabeth, KEAR Bream, Collier, Bream

However as said there are several possible Thomas Morses to consider, hence we need to see the Census returns, please ?

In distinct contrast there is only ONE Annis Morgan record on the database, she's from Bream too so could possibly be Edward & Kathleen's Marriage witness, maybe even Kathleen's Grandmother or Aunt ?

Searching GlosBMD again gives just one PR for Annis Morgan, which looks ok, presumably Marriage for same person ?.

Marriage Details
Number of entries matching criteria entered: 1
Groom Surname Groom Forename Bride Surname Bride Forename District Parish Building Year Register Entry
SANDFORD Albert Henry MORGAN Annis Forest of Dean Monmouth Register Office 1888 14 182

Lookingup FoD PRs Albert was baptized & buried at Lydney, so not far from Bream.

Meanwhile looking up FreeBMD we confirm:

Surname Given Name District Volume Page Transcribers
Births Jun 1903
MORSE Edward William Monmouth 11a 30 GeeJay
MORSE Edward William Monmouth 11a 30 peterda

So Edward's birth was registered in Monmouth during the Quarter upto June 1903.

Similarly;

Births Mar 1907 (>99%)
MORGAN Kathleen Mary Monmouth 11a 23

Unfortunately these Records are just a few years too early to include the mother's maiden name.
