Chestnuts Lodge (General)

Further to my message of yesterday,I have been discussing the occupation of Chestnuts Lodge.My wife remembers an evacuee family named Spicer living there in WW2.Presumably they returned home after the war or when bombing stopped on our major cities.A check on the school registers of Littledean School might reveal this family as my wife believes there were children involved and were at school when she was there.
