Location of land/property called Doulese (General)
Hello
Does anyone know the location of a place/locality/house named Doulese. In the Will of James Kere 1569, http://www.forest-of-dean.net/downloads/Wills/KERE_Will_of_James_Kere_1569_of_Awre_Glou... Thomas Bayley was given 2 houses known as Doulese and a garden adjoining Richard Baynham's house and that of James Kere (the Testator). A Richard Baynham who died in about 1580 (might not be the same one) owned Badcocks Bailey at Newland and Noxon Park so I'm assuming it would be in that locality - otherwise in the Awre/Blakeney/Etloe locality where later members of the Bayley family are found living at Lensbrook (near Old Street House) from the late 18th century until the late 19th.
