Forest of Dean under Gloucestershire BMD indices (General)

Hi

I have been using the Gloucestershire BMD indexes for FOD birth records but they appear to stop circa 1863. Is this when FOD became part of Monmouthshire or is it just the limit of current transcriptions?

Is there a similiar site available for post 1863 BMD's elsewhere?

Was the FOD ever considered to be part of Wales?

thanks Brian

The picture so far at Gloucestershire BMD, so yes 1863 ish is about the limit of progress ...
