This is the Enumerator's notes and route.....


The 16th remaining part of the Township of East Dean, commencing at the Forest of Dean Tramway at Cinderford Bridge is bounded on the East by the said Tramway to Mr Evans Tailor/Sailor? on the South East by the said Tramway to Shakemantle Works across the railway below the Shakemantle works to Wm JORDAN's *** thence to Stapledge Lodge, Lightmoor Collieries and Orley Mire Lodge including houses at each place. Within this district is included Lower Ruspridge, colour Mill Lower Ruspidge row, Shakemantle Works, the two keepers lodge and the houses at Lightmoor Colliers.
