I'm hoping to find out more about John Weir Walkinshaw and where abouts in Scotland he came from and take it further from there.
Sadly his marriage to Harriet Wintle didnt say who his parents were.
Is this part of your tree too?
I am related via their daughter Margaret, who married John Ellis who's daughter Harrietta was my great grand mother.
