George PHELPS 1816 (General)

I have more information on George Phelps, husband of Hannah Jackson, that is relevant to the Biby/Bibe discussion. The first record (below) is the quarter session transcript and the second is the Tasmanian convict transportation transcript. Both record only one child. The first record would refer to Hannah Maria, who was an infant when he was tried. It is possible that he did not know of a second child when he arrived in Australia, but there is still no evidence to support George as the father of Biby/Bibe.
