Hi Sarah,
sorry but cannot add much to Chris's post above, it seems she's rather an elusive lady! As I'm sure Chris is/has, I've thoroughly searched FreeBMD (ALL Mitchells), GlosBMD, GlosNonConformists, this site FoDFH and LDS.
I've tried name variations, I guess Mitchell could vary?.
Sadly all I've found is what I think you know,
FreeBMD:

[Update: using the current Free access to Ancestry I've just viewed this form, Ida is a cook at the George Hotel, Gloster Road, Ross On Wye.]
I don't have a subscription but using the free search of Ancestry gives the following clues;
1) an "Ida Mitchell dies Gloucestershire in 1917", so, from FreeBMD:
Surname Given Name Age District Volume Page Transcriber
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Deaths Mar 1917
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Mitchell Ida 34 Gloucester 6a 511 PLabott
So if aged 34 in 1917 that gives birth abt 1883 !
however unlikely as you believe she married so would have changed name...
OR
2) an "Alice Frances Mitchell dies Lancashire 1972", cannot find an age for her as no FreeBMD coverage.
3) Ancestry shows a Christening for
"Name: Ida Alice Francoise Georgenia Mitchell
Mother: Eliza Mitchell
Father: Samuel Mitchell"
Now it does not show me (no subs) a place or date, however I suspect there cannot be too many ladies with such a similar name. WHY does it show a different father than LDS above ?. Worth further digging methinks.
I hope this helps in some way, sorry no marriage tho !
If you don't have Ancestry Subscription and no-one else helps later on this forum (unlikely) don't forget your local public Library has free Ancestry access, assuming you're in the UK of course.

Greetings MPG !, hope you're all well ?
Please if possible can you lookup the place and date of the apparently similar Christening I noted above, my point 3 ?.
Thanks.
UPDATE while trying to minimise post count,
"Thanks, should have realised you were already onto it !
Same person then, thought so, but some confusion over the father perhaps. But then again I see mum was a Jones and you know what we're sorry those are like..."

So no doubt Ida's parents were married long afore Ida was born in 1882.
Looks like the earlier mentioned LDS Cnristening showing her father as Thomas was a simple transcription error from this Register, especially as he also married an Elizabeth Jones ?
I cannot search for Samuel's birth abt 1830 as before FreeBMDs records.
Searching Samuel on LDS:

Similarly searching Eliza she's at the above Census locations, plus:

But I cannot see much before her marriage/surname change as there's lots! of Herefordshire Christenings for Eliza Jones' born abt 1837.
However the following deserves comparison with Samuel's 1861 Census above, I wonder if this is our Eliza who was also born abt 1837, or a relation, despite the fact that Eliza became Mitchell before this Census. At least I suggest deserves a look at the full household when possible.

Samuel Mitchell Household, Kings Caple 1911 Census.
by Jefff , West London, Middlesex, Thursday, August 16, 2012, 04:16 (4478 days ago) @ Jefff
Using the current free access to 1911 Census via Ancestry, can find Ida's parents alive and enjoying old age at New Millditch, Kings Caple, Nr Herefordshire.
Samuel is a "Coal salesman"
As well as Eliza also present are their sons,
Henry Edward Mitchell aged 52, born Kings Caple, Herefordshire, England, a domestic gardener and single.
Alfred John Mitchell aged 35, born Llanvair, Monmouthshire, Wales, a farm labourer and single.
The fifth & final member of the household is Grandson Thomas William Mitchell age 6, so born abt 1905.
I wonder if this is Ida's son (while she is currently working at the George Hotel, Ross) ?.
Either way in this household it clearly wasn't considered essential for the children to marry.
