Glass making in the Forest of Dean (General)

The slag from blast furnaces is used in the production of green glass. Given Mushet's pioneering work in the Forest, it would not be a surprise to find small glass production in the Forest.

I have read that the famous Bristol Glass works were supplied by Forest produced "glass"..

I have come across a Samuel Hewlett with a Forge, is this a possible connection to Glass works ?
