Hello All,
I am currently researching my late fathers family.
His great-grandfather was Thomas Partridge who, according to the 1911 census, lived in Stantway House, Westbury on Severn.
Can anyone shed any light on what exactly Stantway House was as I have come across information that stated it may be a poor house or a large country house. Thomas' occupation was Farmer.

I suspect your family were tenant farmers with the Colchester-Wemys as Landlords.
