2nd. Lieut. S.G. BENNETT, Gloucestershire Regiment.

Wounded on July 29th 1916 in action in France.

Eldest son of Mr. and Mrs G.F. Bennett, Cinderford.

He was in the Civil Service in Gloucester previous to the war, and joined the 1/5th Gloucesters, and after promotion to Sergeant was given a commission in Bristol's Own
