Dear Sara and other interested Parry researchers, this is my first time on this forum. I am in the midst of Much Marcle Parry family at present. A Herefordshire resident who is most probably my distant cousin, through John Parry and Ann Jones, has kindly looked up for me the records that are of interest to you. I hold in my hand right now a very faint copy of the 1734 Much Marcle Parish Records - the Parry in question was Edward Parry. Edward went on to marry Ann Lewis (sometimes known as Nancy). In Bristol, there is a file called the Parry, Hill, Bowyer and Curwen records - if you can't find it, I will send you a link. I am considering asking Bristol if I can buy the relevant Parry document copies so I can access it from Australia, where I am. My interest in the Parry family comes from my greatX4 grandfather who was born in Much Marcle in 1778. The interesting thing is that he was always known to our family as Edward PERRY. However, it appears that he was born Edward PARRY. This is a long story. I am happy to correspond with anyone interested. Being a novice on this, I don't know how to go back and look at the other enquiries about the Parry family, but you can contact me on alis.pianoforteATgmail.com if you like. My ancestry Tree is usually private, but I've made it public temporarily to allow contacts I am currently making to access my Tree, which is Perry Drysdale et al. If you look up Edward Perry and wife Sarah Drysdale married 1802, you should find me - and quite a lot of my Parry research too. I am now in the process of correcting mistakes, so be careful where you tread. Regards, Alis
