It is probably the same reason why Rome was not built in a day. We have many volunteer transcribers hard at work and we are doing our best to get the whole of the Forest covered as soon as we can.

If you can find us an additional volunteer who would be willing to transcribe the Newent parish records, I'm sure Graham would try and come up with the material for them get to work on transcribing these records.

Sorry we haven`t got as far as Newent yet. I am gradually filming all the registers from the parishes West of Gloucester, moving from Tidenham in the south west to Dymock in the North West. It won`t be long before we reach Newent.
