Looking for a suitable charity (General)

We havent decided yet which charity for donations for Dads funeral to go to

I'm thinking something here in Lincolnshire

aand something in the Forest

Dad was born in Broadwell nr Coleford, worked in the Forestry Commission, Cannop mine, Listers and Carters

He kept his love of the Forest thru his life, always saying he was born there rather than Gloucestershire when asked.

anyone any ideas?

A charity open to all Foresters is the Dean Forest Hospice whose building was, and whose running is reliant on voluntary contribtions. The hospice provides a great service to those in need in the Forest.

The Dean Heritage Centre is situated in a very beautiful spot, would it be an acceptable thought for a bench with your Dad's name on it to be placed by the side of the Pond so we can all sit and enjoy the beauty and peacefulness.

When you visit from afar simple facilities make a difference.

Just a thought

Barbara.
