I have been perusing the National Archives, Kew, document (henceforth called ref): “Dowle v Morgan. Plaintiffs: Robert Dowle. Defendants: Thomas Morgan and others. Subject: property . Court of Chancery. Subject: property in Whitcleeve in Newland, Gloucestershire. Document type: bill, answer, schedule and plea. Date range: 01 January 1691 - 31 December 1691. Reference:C 5/73/15”.
