Thanks for the website (General)

I only discovered I had a connection with the area when someone contacted me about Ann (Nancy) Hodges of Dymock who had married on of my Herefordshire Pullens, this was proved by will of William Hodges of 1798.

This site has been a godsend and have now traced a good way back. I probably should get a few wills.

Latest discovery when I discovered a branch from Newent, was the MIs you have onsite.
I did not expect to see my 8X ad 7 X grandfathers represented, and my 8X great gradfather Edward Taylor had been head workman on the rebuilding the church roof in 1697.

The Taylors were all carpenters. When I discovered that another branch the Wheelers were masons, I hoped for more MIs but alas no

This is a great site
Thanks All
