Ann TEAGUE b1820 Tibberton & Family, Tibberton Methodists. (General)
I found the above post by Jean Herbert only after stumbling across this Tibberton Methodist Church website while researching the GWR "Daffodil Line" from another thread ! I hope that makes sense, I'd like to think it's good lateral-thinking research but in fact just chance of course. Anyhow, the abovementioned bride Ann Teague is a daughter of William Teague the Carpenter whose subsequent rich family history is detailed within this very interesting & highly recommended site.
http://glostransporthistory.visit-gloucestershire.co.uk/Tibberton%20MChistory.htm
This goes onto discuss his son Charles Teague, carpenter, Ann's elder brother. It's pleasing to see Charles was a witness at Ann's marriage, given that he's a committed abstainer and she's marrying a wine merchant !.
The site moves on to Charles' son Charles Palmer Teague who is clearly a man of considerable skill & endeavour who - "in addition to being a carpenter, wheelwright, farm waggon maker and builder was a part time farmer, the village undertaker and a coal dealer - keeping wagons built by the Gloucester Railway Carriage & Wagon Company at his yard at nearby Barber's Bridge station on the Great Western "Daffodil" line". Wow !
Both men were lifelong dedicated members of Tibberton Methodist Church, which I'd like to think and am positive helped these and other family members to live very long lives indeed and seemingly contribute so much to their local community.
From this FoD FH site just some of the related PRs are;
