CHARLES BOWDEN abt. 1811 (General)

Good evening FOD Squad, I know how much you enjoy solving my brickwalls, so I thought you might like another one ;-))

1851 Census

Charles Bowden, 1811, born Devon
Mary 1823, Devon
Elizabeth,1848, Chepstow.
Charles, 1850, Chepstow.

I have searched the Parish Records and found just one entry, Charles Bowden,died 1851 age 2, no births listed or a marriage for Charles and Mary.I have also checked the Gloucestershire BMD Indexes.

By 1861 they were in Cardiff, Elizabeth and Charles Jnr.are gone,but there are three more children,

Mary A. 1852, Chepstow,
Susanna, 1855, Cardiff.
Sarah, 1857, Cardiff.

On the birth Certs for the Last two children, mother's former name is ALES.

Any help would be very welcome.
