Private W. BRICK/BRICE? Blakeney? WW1 (General)

I would be grateful if some one else would take a look for this soldier and any connection to Blakeney. I think his surname might be incorrect and could be BRICE, if so, then he perhaps he is Jonathan Walter BRICE

The details printed in the Gloucester Journal 11 Sept. 1915 are as follows

Killed at the Dardanelles

News has been received at Blakeney of the death of Private W. BRICK, killed in recent fighting in the Dardanelles. The gallant soldier, who was 27 years of age, emigrated to Australia some 7 years ago, and came over to Egypt with the first Australian contingent. He had been only 4 days in the trenches when he received the fatal wound. His parents as might be imagined are greatly distressed at the loss of their only son. There are 6 daughters living.
