Alicia HUNMANDE (General)

15 May 1720 Alicia Hunmande married Jonathan Hare in Gloucester Cathderal. Could this be Alicia (Alice) Hunman de somewhere? (Her residence is listed as de Eaden but I cannot find Eaden).

I wonder if the record is CHURCHAM but transcribed as "de eaden" because that is the way the handwriting looks - "ch" read as "d" or "de"

I have found their children but not their forebears. Could anyone be married in the Cathedral?

I suspect that you would have needed " an introduction" to marry in St Peters unless it was your parish church i.e. the Precincts.

Any help with Hares or Hunman(de)s greatly appreciated.
