I know that Emma TAYLOR was in the Monmouth Workhouse on 1911 census, and have found a death on Freebmd Hereford June Q 1912 age 66. what i would like to know is would they have traveled to Hereford to register her death?
She was born about 1843 in Milkwall as Emma JORDAN. Monmouth Work House have her as being born c 1846. Her parents were Henry Jordan and Sarah Adams.
I would also like to know where i can see the electrol rolls for Gorsty Knoll from about 1930 to 1950 as my grandfather Wilfred Bernard TAYLOR used to tell my father he was going to visit the old lady there in the woods near the to where the BEARD'S Lived.it could not have been the lady he was boarded out to as she died in 1914.
