Hi Rob,
As you may know this forum isn't intended for searching Living Relatives, hence this and other similar sites doesn't include recent PRs, see
http://www.forum.forest-of-dean.net/index.php?

I've seen your forum enquiries re the Bowker-King line, have you also tried researching his sister's Hospital links for possible guidance ? (Do you know her name, I guess not ?). I suspect you've already searched this site's PRs for clues, if you have you'll know the Brodie/Brody etc surname is very rare in the Forest. Indeed searching all of Gloucestershire for it within GlosBMD gives very little, if anything, to help except maybe the Marriage below ??.

I suggest you searched FreeBMD which gives good coverage for our area up until the 1960s or so, be warned the site will only search the exact surname spelling you enter.
Could this be your Michael, many are listed but this is the only one close to the Forest and abt the right timeframe that I can find ?

Births Mar 1937

Brodie Michael A Bunton Bromyard 6a 731

This is possibly his Marriage, unfortunately not giving Ms Evans' full name without more research,

A possible son, perhaps, from GlosBMD:

Marriage Details

Groom Surname Groom Forename Bride Surname Bride Forename District Parish Building Year Register Entry
BRODIE Michael WILLEMSE Margareth Forest of Dean Forest of Dean Register Office (post 1974) 1983 6 209

???

SO, as in the past with similar enquiries, my best advice is to write open letters to the local newspapers, and perhaps father north into Herefordshire too, they will clearly have a far greater readership than this forum. This prior thread may help, altho be advised I've also searched his surname in the FoD Council Cemeteries site without finding any variation of it at all.

Good luck !
