Thomas Herbert STEPHENS circa 1857 Mitcheldean/ Bradford (General)

I have been in touch with my Cousin and she has the same information as you have re Thomas and Lavinia Stephens and also John Charles Stephens who she thinks may have died aged about 2. However she has been unable to find out anything further about either Thomas or Lavinia and wonders if one or both of them died. If Thomas died, then he could not have been our grandfather, as our grandmother married a Thomas Stephens in 1902. What we do know is that our grandfather was a coachbuilder who could have worked for a railway company and apart from that it is a dead end. Any further information you have would be most welcome. Given the Micheldean Thomas is living in Bradford area in 1881
This looks like him in 1891 with a wife transcribed as Sarah not Lavinia but
possible to understand how that was recorded.


I wonder if he is Thomas HERBERT or Thomas STEPHENS by birth ?
