There is on Genesunited - info on this family group i.e. 1901 census and earlier census returns…..

'Gertrude STERRY was his housekeeper and not daughter and her 1st 2 children were his and she later married and had more and was never married to William COATES'

William COATES died J/A/S Qtr 1901 Cheltenham, age 66 - birth date abt 1835)

Gertrude Emily STERRY later married Wallace JONES, North St John the Baptist 1902.
