The Section you refer to is described as: Gloucestershire, England, Wills and Inventories, 1541-1858
On this website is the following: Forest of Dean Wills & Administrations Index 1858-1941 and you can find transcriptions on some Wills under Documents and Articles
The total makes for a comprehensive resource for researchers.

Over the past couple of years I have been transcribing Boughton Wills of Blaisdon & Flaxely which I have tried to send to this site to be included in the documents section without success - must be something wrong with my computer?
e.g. Probate Dates: John 1622, William 1663, John 1712, Joseph 1749, John 1767, Margaret 1772, Elizabeth 1772, & John 1773.
If anyone is researching these families I would be happy to pass on any information.

An index of wills 1541-1858 is available on www.gloucestershire gov.uk/archives plus other records including an index of inventories which is unfortunately incomplete. I have just obtained an inventory of an ancestral grandfather and found out the date he died in 1707 and his address, Slat Mill none of which was recorded on his will. The inventory of his goods is fascinating, including 100 cheeses and 3 old lode horses and old lode barges.

I have the transcribed will of John Morse of Ruardean dated 1730 to submit but I also do not know how.

If you wish to send in transcription of a Will for the website you will find instructions on this webpage:
http://www.forest-of-dean.net/index.php/resources/docsandarts

Click on the link - "Forest of Dean Document Upload" and your email client will open with the email address to send to included. All you need to do is attach the document and send.
