Think twice before including your e-mail address in a post (Announce)

If you have included your e-mail address in any of your posts, I strongly
recommend that you remove it by editing your message.

Spammers use web robot software called "mailbots" or "webbots" to collect e-mail
addresses from web pages. So you might want to think twice before posting your
e-mail address in public places.

Instead of leaving your e-mail address on a posting on the Message Board for
someone to contact you direct, all you have to do is to have your E-mail address
contactable in your Profile area and advise in your message to click on your
e-mail link which is an envelope icon at the top of your message.

This link will take them to a contact form where they can send a message direct
to you. The software that runs this forum will then send the e-mail direct to
you without your e-mail address ever being revealed at any time.

In order to change your options, you first of all must be logged in, then you
will notice your user name appears near the top of the page, this is a link to
your Profile area where you can change your options.

By default when a new member registers the setting is "E-mail address
contactable".

If you wish to receive an e-mail direct make sure a tick is in the box next to
the "E-mail address contactable".
