A little more information from the Western Daily Press, Wednesday 12th May 1943

After a brief description of the raid and the rescue efforts…………..

“One survivor of the ATS was named last night as Private Doreen Chappel (22), of High Street, Cinderford, Glos. It was stated at the general hospital in which she is lying that her condition is fair.”
