James PRIEST - Will (General)
This is the last Will & Testament of me James PRIEST of Breems Eaves in the Hundred of St Briavels and in the County of Gloucester Coale Miner. Whereof I dispose of my Wordly Estates Effects in the following manner and form.
In the first place I will Devise and Direct my Funeral Expenses to be paid equally by my 4 children
I Give and Bequeath to my Eldest daughter Ann, Wife of Thomas Morse and Part of my land I have marked out for her situated in Breems Eaves adjoining the land i have marked belonging to my upper dwelling House together with my largest Table.
Item I Give and Bequeath to my Eldest Son Joseph Priest my lower Dwelling House and the land I have marked out belonging to it situate in Breems Eaves aforesaid together with my Clock.
Item Give & Bequeath to my daughter Maria Wife of Thos Jinkins a Part of my Land I have marked for her adjoining the land belonging to my my lower Dwelling House situate in Breeves Eaves aforesaid.
Item I Give & Bequeath to my Son William Priest whom I likewise make good and Ordain my whole and Sole Executor of this my last Will and Testament, my upper Dwelling House and the Land I have marked out and belonging to it situate in Breems Eaves a foresaid together with all my Household goods and Chattels except my largest Table and Clock before Willed and Bequeathed Hereby revoking and Disannulling all former Wills by me herethfore made in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and Seal this Tenth day of March in the Year of our Lord one thousand Eight Hundred and Twenty four.
Signed sealed published pronounced and declared by the said James Priest as his last will and Testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other hereunto subscribed our names
