Gosh, there's a lot to delve into here thanks. I'll have take the plunge and get back to you later with my thoughts. Thanks for your efforts

I did a similar digging exercise using advance search of marriages and baptisms of females starting El. Lots of Elizabeths and, surprisingly to me, very few Eleanor's etc

As you have spotted, 1726 Eleanor Tomblins and 1727 Eleanor Court exist. Makes me wonder if someone on Ancestry couldn't decide which one married William Kear and set up a joint record which all future tree builders have simply copied for want of anything better? Its certainly a strange coincidence. What do you think?
