Lyall William Henry (General)

I am helping a friend with her research. She has not been able to find the death of her grandfather anywhere. She thinks he died at sea, but where? He was alive in 1910 as a daughter was born, and his widow remarried in 1914.He was born in Scotland and married and lived in England. Can anyone help please.

There are several William Lyalls born in Scotland but as far as I can see only one William Henry. Does this tie in with anything your friend already has?

It is good that you are trying to help a friend but I would like you to be aware
that this forum is dedicated to people and places in the Forest of Dean. We do
often stray a little out of the Forest to bordering counties and also in cases where
people have either come into the Forest from other areas, or where people have
moved elsewhere from the Forest.

If we were to answer queries relating to people from everywhere in the UK we would
be completely out of character in what the Forest of Dean Family History Website
is all about.

You will find many appropriate places on the internet that cater for such a
question as you have asked and a good starting starting point would be the
