Many thanks for your message through genes reunited. I have only just started making headway in the Banks family and would welcome any more information you have about them. I know that my great great grandfather was Matthew Banks and that his father was Benjamin and mother Hannah, do you have any information any further back?
hopefully this is the correct way to contact you, I have been trawling through the list for ages looking for something with your name on it.

Many thanks for looking up the Banks family. My grandfather was Arthur Banks and is descended from Benjamin and James Banks. I had no idea that the family were from the Forest of Dean. I really feel I must go there now and have a look at the place as I have never been. Unfortunately I live in Yorkshire so it will take me a while to get there, one day......
