No problem John,

to clarify then, in case it helps, here's MPG's message to which you refer;

"Here's the family (I think) (Marriage/baptism records on Forest of Dean, Woolastone)

Ancestry Probate

CLARK: William Edward of Woolastone, Gloucester - Coach Builder - died 24 June 1902.

Adminstration Gloucester 5 October to

Thomas Edward CLARK - Carpenter and Wheelwright.

Effects: £176 14s"

From your "Clark, Wheelwrights in Woolaston" post/thread

So, if I'm reading your query correctly this time John, this info came from Ancestry's Probate database, they may have more info regarding your researches. Do you have access to that site, I'm afraid I don't at the moment except via the local library, not sure whether the Library version includes Probate records access ?

Alternatively, have you tried the National Archives records (which I think will include anything held at Gloster Archives) ?.
