Think we'll settle for Monmouth then, thanks for the ages info, and to you too PRobinson.

I'm not so sure as there was an Elizabeth Dovey (nee Bird) buried in Lydbrook that is a better match.

Certainly looks like it, thanks for checking that out; once again proper research gets the better of my "enthusiastic amateur" approach :-)
