Bale/Beale (General)

Hi
I have reached a brick wall whilst researching my family tree. My Great Great Grandfather was Tom Bale born in Lydbrook abt 1866. His mother was Sarah Ann Beale who later married William West. Unfortunately I cannot find any birth records for Tom and therefore cannot confirm the identity of his father.

Can anyone help?

Many thanks Paula

Hi
Thank you for replying. Yes that is the Tom Bale I am
looking for.
His father is still a mystery. I believe
that a mistake was made on his marriage
certificate and the William Bale should
have been shown as William West his step
father who was a miller.
I have checked the GRO and have failed
to find his birth record so have been unable
to request a birth certificate.
Any help gratefully received.
Many thanks
