William Dawes of Longhope 1783-1854 (General)

In 1833 my husband's great great grandfather James Barnard married Sarah Dawes; all the census records indicate that she was born in Longhope in about 1807. I have found a baptism record for Sarah Dawes, daughter of William Dawes and wife Esther Dawes for 14 June 1807. The next record I can find is for a marriage of William Dawes and Esther Dawes 26 January 1807 and then a record for a burial of an Esther Dawes 18 May 1808.

There is a William Dawes baptized 17 January 1783, son of John and Hester Dawe - and this line seems to clearly go back to Clement Dawe and Mary Wilkins and then to Robert Dawes and Mary (or Margaret) Bright. This William Dawes b 1783 married Jane Lodge in 1816 and had at least 8 children with her before emigrating to Canada in 1833. My question: does anyone have any evidence that the William Dawes who married Esther Dawes in 1807 and fathered Sarah Dawes in 1807 is the same William Dawes who married Jane Lodge in 1816 as I am theorizing?
