Harriett WOOD nee EVANS Blakeney Hill/Brain's Green (General)

Thanks to all the new transcriptions of parish records and the indexing of the 1841 I have found the marriage of William WOOD and Harriett EVANS in Awre on 18 August 1827 ("with consent of parents" but no parents' names entered with witnesses Sarah WOOD and John EVANS) and the family are living at Blakeney Hill in 1841 with 4 children with possibly another child living with the grandparents William & Mary WOOD (nee BROBEN)at Brain's Green. But by 1850 William is marrying again, this time to Elizabeth POWELL on 17 August 1850, both giving their place of residence as Hewler's Farm (witnesses George WOOD and Caroline Mary BROBEN). Has anyone else been researching this family? What happened to Harriett - I can find no death/burial - and the children from William's first marriage? Any help much appreciated!
