I have a few Walford Records and have looked up the Collier Family in them.

Edith Collier was born 8 Apl 1902, and was Christened at Walford 11 May 1902 (Entry 671 Page 84). Her parents were George and Mary Florence Collier of Tump, Walford. George was a Woodman and the minister was Kentish Bache.

Edith, John Stanley and Richard Trevor are the three children of George and Mary Florence recorded in the Walford baptism register. This would include St John's Church at Howle Hill

Marion Annie (alleged d.o.b. 24 Mar 1898)was christend at Bishopswood 24 Apl 1898 Address given as Rose Cottage, Bulls Hill. Parents, George Smith and Mary Florence, he was a Woodman. Entry 719. No other records (b m or d) for Collier families at Bishopswood.

Walford MI
"In loving memory of / John Stanley / eldest son of George Smith / & Mary Florence Collier / died April 20 1931 / aged 31 years / Thy way not mine /
In loving memory of / Mary Florence Collier / dearly beloved wife of / George Smith Collier / who died Dec 6 1936 aged 68 / I know whom I have believed 2 Tim. 1.12 /
Also George her beloved husband/ who died May 7th 1956 aged 79 years."

Smith may be a clue to previous lineage.

There is another Collier family but they are from Deep Dene.

Hope this helps in some way.
