John NELMES - aged 34 - committed Dec 4, 1830 by John SAYER Clerk, charged on the oath of the Parish of Eastington, with having stolen part of a sirloin of beef value 4s the property of the said Thomas GWINNEL on Friday the 3rd September last in the Parish of Arlingham. Imprisoned for 6 months.

Gloucestershire Records Office gives his age as 54 - from Arlingham - but the copy on Ancestry reads 34 years
