Thomas BOWERY ancestors, Dymock (General)

Hi,

Looking for more information on parents/any siblings of my G-G-Grandfather Thomas Henry Bowery, b.11/4/1848 Dymock. There is a baptism transcription for him transcribed on this website (1880), which shows his parents first names as John and Elizabeth. Can't find them on the 1841/51 census at all. Anybody have any more info on them or anything else which might help? (Note baptism records have 2 x Thomas Henry Bowery entries - his son Thomas Henry Bowery my G-Grandfather baptised a year after him). There are some other Bowery's in the Dymock area around that time, but I cannot see the relationships.

It has been difficult to find out any information about Thomas snr. as he joined the army at some point, and married Anna Ramos (Spanish) in Gibraltar on 6/3/1876, (source IGI) returning to Dymock later that year and going on to have at least 9 children that I know of. A trip to London is in order to find his army records which may help, but thought I'd ask here in the meantime.

Thanks,
Richard
