Alice HEAD and John HUNT, Chepstow (General)

by Jefff @, West London, Middlesex, Sunday, February 09, 2020, 18:40 (1747 days ago) @ Mike Pinchin

Thanks for that Mike !

Interesting John was "in fact" born in 1881. ???

Seeing as Alice's father was a baker, and John was a waggoner, quite possibly working for his father who was a miller, it seems reasonable to think the couple met as a result of their parent's work.

Despite several searches struggling to definitely find John, or Edwin, in the earlier Censuses, locally or elsewhere.
???

However searching Lilian Hunt, witness at his wedding, I eventually find this record which seems relevant, our John's daughter ? (presumably from his previous marriage).
