I am trying to research Ellen Haile born 1850? Westbury daughter of George Haile born 1815 Mitcheldean and Sarah nee Young. Ellen married James Brain 1869 Westbury on Severn and had William George, Amanda and Ada. Ellen then married William Bennett Reed and came to NZ leaving William George with her brother Tom and the two girls died Bristol she had another daughter father unknown Maud who came to NZ and William adopted her. I can not find a marriage to William but that may not have been his real name there is rumour that he changed his name when he came to NZ! Her sister Elizabeth also came to NZ she married Charles Plaisted. Sarah was christened 21/1/1810 at Westbury on Severn father James Young1771-1826 mother Sarah Sterry 1783-1850 married 25/12/1796. I would particularly welcome any information on Ellen and William who came to NZ 1880 as Mr. and Mrs. Reed. Thank you, Natalie
