The Crown Inn, Hawthorn (General)

Hello Shari,

A lot of time has passed since your interesting post so I don’t know if it is still active.
My wife and moved into the Old Inn (formerly the Crown) in Hawthorns Rd in July 2023. I am very interested in the history of the house and it was nice to see a couple of old photos of the exterior.

I was wondering if by any chance you knew of any photos of the interior? Also, I tried to find the book you have mentioned – “Starting Below Scratch” by Thomas Rogers Gammage – but have been unable to find it anywhere. Do you (or anyone else) know where it can be found?
