SHARPE and ROBINSON - lived around Hewelsfield (General)

Thanks for sending those details through, I'll certainly have a look to see if any of them look familiar.

I notice there's no Basil Sharpe in there. From the stories I've been told, he owned this Chepstow House and George Robinson worked for him around 1820 until he married his daughter, Annie and moved to Chile.

I visited Hewelsfield in October as I was told that years ago my great aunt obtained a copy of George & Annie's marriage certificate from the church there. Unfortunately the records are no longer kept there.

Think some more digging is in order.
