Bewdley / Kidderminster is well outside my area of expertise !

There are several Sarah WESTON's in the IGI from Kidderminster who may fit. The link to the River Severn and boat trade is suggested.

This Forum is intended for Forest of Dean families and those who come in and/or leave; so its not unusual to find families associated with Coal fields in South Wales, Bristol / Somerset, Staffordshire, Yorkshire and Northumberland.

Occasionally we find Forestry folk who come in and/or leave the FOD. I can recall at least one other "Boatman" family from this Forum.

I suspect this thread may not get a great response - sorry
