Was Lea ever part of the parish of Walford?

Parish of St John ,Lea ?

If you are referring to the Lea on the Gloucestershire / Hereforshire border, then I suspect not. Weston under Penyard or East Dean / Mitcheldean would probably be the adjacent parishes.

Lea under the parish of Walford

It's very unlikely because Lea was in the Gloucester diocese until quite late (not sure exactly when it transferred but I think it was the 1970's or thereabouts) even though it was in Herefordshire long before that. If you go back far enough then Linton was where burials at least were performed but that would be well over 200 years ago. I remember reading something in Lea Church years ago about this but I don't know if it is still there as I haven't been there for a while. I may be able to find out exactly when that was if you are interested but it may take a while.
