Census Name Index for 1841 - Haddock at Moorwood (General)
I have come across the place of Moorwood entered on the Name Index for 1841 but I am unable to find out anything about such a place. Can anyone give me any information about the location of Moorwood. I have an Elizabeth Haddock living there in 1841 and I want to establish whether she is connected to my Haddock line.

Moorwood is on the high ground above Lydbrook on the river Wye.
nearby you will find Moorwood Coppice, Vention, Joys Green, Horse Lea, The Reddings, High Beech and a few other "settlements"
