I have an interest in a property built in c.1830. I have located it on a map for 1889 at www.old-maps.co.uk

I would like to find the name that was given to the cottage when it was first inhabited.

Please is there anyone who could give me information as to how I could go about this?

I am not expecting anyone to do this for me as the cottage is across the river at Middle Street, Eastington,formally called Muddleshole. This is not quite Forest of Dean territory!
