Thanks for your reply. all my father in law remembers is that they were classed as foresters! They later lived in Ross on Wye where Grandma was born in 1904. Family names include Tom Smith. Gertrude Ellen. Bert and Mart. Gertrude attended the Coleford Wesleyan Sunday school.
any help you can give is much appreciated.
